The Lethality Assessment Program—Maryland Model (LAP) Advisory Council plays a critical role by:

1. Identifying emerging trends and opportunities within the LAP;
2. Advising the Maryland Network Against Domestic Violence (MNADV) on strategies to address issues and advance LAP goals; and
3. Supporting MNADV in promoting LAP to future participants, national and state stakeholders and community members.

Members of the council also provide guidance through several sub-committees on matters such as body-worn cameras, culturally-specific services, research and core elements.
